Help us inspire the next generation of leaders

Friends,

During this season of giving, I invite you to make a tax-deductible gift to the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. Your gift will support our mission of educating the public about the Senate’s unique role in American democracy, invigorating public discourse, and inspiring the next generation of civic leaders.

Senator Kennedy loved the Senate and was honored to serve for nearly 47 years. His vision of an institute as a new model for civic education celebrating public service is now a reality and especially important as we face the current political environment.

In addition to interactive exhibits, students who come to the Institute experience being senators for a day – learning, debating, and finding common ground with other student senators. Together they create and vote on legislation in our full-scale replica of the United States Senate Chamber.

Since opening in 2015, over 50,000 students from more than 400 schools have visited the Institute. Our educational staff collaborates with teachers to design programs to shape a new future for civic education. It is our hope to encourage all students to believe in the future and empower them to make change happen.

This year, we offered free admission to Massachusetts school groups and discounted rates to out-of-state groups, subsidized travel costs for schools with tight budgets, and scholarships to sponsor a student.

Please help more students experience active learning in civic education by making a gift of $50 to support our programsor $110 to sponsor a student.

Your generosity will help inspire our visitors and students to influence change in their communities. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and ensuring Senator Kennedy’s vision continues.

Best,
