To celebrate his birthday, on\u00a0Wednesday 22 January, our \u00a0Ambassador John Kittmer hosted students from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fco.us2.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=b7a8dad499cb0241c14a4fa71&amp;id=405fee209f&amp;e=505dc929fa\" target=\"_blank\">Byron College in Greece<\/a>\u00a0at the British Residence. He spoke to them about Lord Byron&#8217;s brilliant achievements\u00a0and\u00a0extraordinary\u00a0life reflected in his emotion-stirring literary works.\u00a0The students showed enthusiasm while admiring Byron&#8217;s famous portrait by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fco.us2.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=b7a8dad499cb0241c14a4fa71&amp;id=634a30ed39&amp;e=505dc929fa\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Phillips<\/a>.\u00a0Later on, they visited Lord Byron&#8217;s statue by the National Gardens and laid a wreath in his memory.
